Invitation to Inaugural FEIAP Convention 2011

Dear Sir/Madam

The Inaugural FEIAP Convention 2011 will be held from 2nd to 7th October 2011 at Furama Riverfront Hotel. We look forward to your participation in this inaugural FEIAP event, and would like to invite you to register before 31 July 2011 in order to enjoy the early bird registration fee.

The Convention consists of 3 components, namely the 19th FEIAP General Assembly, FEIAP International Conference theme “Engineering Education & Accreditation” and an Accreditation Workshop.

FEIAP Convention was conceived with the objective to set the Convention as a platform for its member economies to share information on issues concerning education, continuing professional development and qualifications of engineers.

Event Highlights

Welcome Reception at The Jewel Box @ Mt. Faber

Delegates will get to enjoy a return trip Jewel cable car ride from Mt. Faber, the Singapore iconic hilltop destination. The hill, formerly known as Telok Blangah Hill, was renamed in July 1845 in honor of Captain Charles Edward Faber of Madras Engineer.

FEIAP International Conference:

Engineering Education & Accreditation

The event will be graced by Guest-of-Honor, Minister Gan Kim Yong, the current Minister of Health. Do not miss out our great line-up of speakers from the United States, Malaysia, Australia, Taiwan, France, India, Singapore and more!


Engineering Accreditation Workshop:

Developing Sustainable Program Assessment Process

The 3-days workshop will be conducted by Dr Gloria Rogers, a renowned guru in engineering accreditation. It is a not to be missed workshop for Institute of Higher Learning moving towards full Outcome Based Assessment implementation.



Technical Visit to Jurong Island

Join us to visit one of the engineering marvels, a mega project by JTC Corporation and its subsidiary Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd in transforming a group of islets with a total area less than 10km2 to current 32km2� integrated, world class energy and chemical hub.
