I am writing to invite you to submit an article to the Journal of Construction Engineering and Project Management (JCEPM) which will include leading scholarly and practical research articles that aim to advance the science of construction engineering and project management. With its first online publication on 31 May 2011 at www.jcepm.org, the journal will be published quarterly and targets to be SCI-E indexed by the end of 2012.
1. Aims and Scope
JCEPM offers wide ranging and comprehensive coverage of all facets of construction engineering and project management.

Particularly, seeking multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives of construction engineering and project management and focusing on the currently emerging Green issues, the journal welcomes both pure and applied research that impacts the theory and practice of construction project management.
2. Format
Manuscripts should follow the template here. ( English paper template MS Word document. )
3. Submission of paper
Manuscripts for submission should be sent to jcepm@kicem.or.kr. There is no restriction on submission date since the submission process goes on continuously for the future publications.
However, please be noted that papers submitted before 15 July, 2011 can go under review process for the publication of the second issue of the journal.
4. Distinctive features
JCEPM differentiates itself from the existing construction journals in terms of target readers, journal scope and focus. To achieve this goal, JCEPM
1) focuses on green and management issues in the whole project lifecycle, not limited to the
construction period
2) targets the global audience in the US and European countries with its base in Eastern Asia
3) generates high quality contributions with a top class editorial board and by providing an
academic discussion forum for the state-of-art issues in construction
5. Content

In addition, the target authors may vary including university professors, researchers, graduate students and industry practitioners in the field of construction and project management. The type of papers is limited to research papers for the time being. Review and case study type of papers will be considered for publication afterwards.
