Allocated Papers and Submission of Abstracts The Conference Advisory Committee (CAC) of the 14th Asian Regional Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering has allocated 37 of papers for your society. The deadline of abstract submissions has been changed from December 31 2009 to January 31, 2010. We are urging you to send this message to your society members and collect abstracts before the deadline comes. The conference organizer only accepts abstracts from the member societies rather than the individual. Therefore we trust you to collect and send the abstracts to the secretary of 14th ARC. If some societies have received abstracts and papers more than the allocated number and if the quality of papers is good (judged by the member society and LOC), LOC will still allow these papers to be published and presented at 14th ARC. Submission of abstracts and papers from young members and students are welcomed and encouraged.
